A smart image comparison tool designed to find and remove duplicate photos efficiently.

If you use a computer for work, especially if you are a designer, images can quickly pile up. Over time, you’ll likely end up with many duplicates—identical photos, or similar ones like a high-res version and a compressed version. If you don't clean them out, they eat up your storage space, and doing it manually takes forever.

Today, I’m sharing a tool called Find.Same.Images.OK that finds identical and similar images for you.

Software Introduction:

Find.Same.Images.OK is a free tool for finding duplicate and similar images. Unlike "image search" tools that look for pictures similar to one specific sample, this software scans entire folders to find every duplicate or similar pair within them.

It can identify exact copies, similar photos, rotated images, mirrored images, resized versions, and even negative images. It also supports comparing one folder against another.

How to Use:

1. Set Comparison Parameters: First, select "All-Compare." Then, choose whether you want to include "Rotated Images" or "Negative Images" in the search.

If you want to filter results by how similar they are, you can adjust the similarity percentage at the top of the results box.

To include subfolders inside your main folder, make sure the "Include Subfolders" button is set to "Yes."

2. Add Folders: Click the "..." button to select the folder containing your images. If you want to add multiple folders at once, click the "...+" button.

3. Start the Search: Click the "Start" button to begin scanning for duplicates.

4. Handle the Results: In the results list, you can see detailed data for duplicate images, including the similarity percentage, size comparison, brightness levels, rotation degrees, and whether it’s a negative.

Click on any result in the list to see a side-by-side preview of the two images along with their resolution and file size at the top.

Click the "Folder icon" next to a file name to jump directly to that file on your computer. Click the "Recycle Bin" icon to delete the duplicate image immediately.

5. Folder-to-Folder Comparison:

In the settings bar, select "Folder vs. Folder."

Click the "..." or "...+" button on the left to add Folder 1, and do the same on the right for Folder 2.

Click "Start" to compare them.

Note: You can add multiple folders to each side. When comparing folders, Folder 1 and Folder 2 should not be subfolders of each other; it works best if they are separate directories.
