Description

Editor's Review

An efficient and compact accessibility tool for keyboard-based mouse control when needed.

NeatMouse is a professional software tool designed to provide numpad-based mouse control. It enables users to simulate mouse cursor movements using the numeric keypad, with support for custom hotkeys to activate this functionality. Fast, convenient, and easy to use, NeatMouse features a clean interface, intuitive layout, and simple operation—making it a highly practical utility for enhancing productivity.

Software Features

NeatMouse can be activated using one of the following keys: Num Lock, Scroll Lock, Caps Lock, or a user-defined hotkey.

The mouse pointer movement speed can be adjusted by holding down Ctrl, Alt, or Shift (referred to as "Alt.modify" in settings).

Keyboard mouse emulation can be temporarily disabled (suspended) by pressing a designated modifier key (Ctrl, Alt, or Shift), allowing normal keyboard use without interference.

The numeric keypad's directional keys (8, 2, 4, 6, and diagonals like 7, 9, 1, 3) are mapped to control the mouse cursor’s movement—up, down, left, right, and diagonally.

Specific keys on the numpad (e.g., 0 or Enter) can be assigned to simulate mouse clicks: left-click, right-click, and middle-click (scroll wheel press).

The + and - keys on the numpad can be used to simulate vertical mouse wheel scrolling (up and down).

Supports management of custom user profiles: if you're using the portable version of NeatMouse, you can save different configurations for your laptop, desktop, or workstation, and switch between them seamlessly.
